Energy - a World Wide Panorama

During the days following the Equinox (the date when day and night are of equal length) more than 200 photographers located around the globe produced panoramic photographs with the theme of "Energy". These amazing digital images give you the ability to look around in all directions from each unique location.

Equipment: Nikon D100, Sigma 8mm, Photoshop CS2, PTGUI/Panorama Tools and Pano Cube. Photo Illustration: My original intent was to shoot a homemade bio-diesel setup; unfortunately this fell through. My back up plan was the oil refineries in Commerce City (Adams County, Colorado.) However, I was harassed by a security guard (despite being on a public street) and forced to shoot at some distance. The result was a dull and uninteresting panorama. I decided to ‘spice it up a bit’ by compositing it with the giant dancing figures, (shoot outside Denver's Center for the Performing Arts,) and adding some simple Photoshop trickery . . . .
