Sure I live on the Mississippi River here in Memphis and there are a number of bridges to photograph; but for this submission I chose the new BRIDGES Center in downtown Memphis. Its funciton and name just fit too well with the bridges theme to pass up.

The Old Alton Bridge lies just south of Denton, TX. The bridge is an iron truss bridge originally built in the late 1800's to carry horses and the automobiles of the time, which were, of course, much narrower than today's vehicles.
