In the days leading up to the Equinox (which fell on March 20 for most parts of the world) photographers everywhere were invited to participate in another World Wide Panorama event. The theme for this event was Marketplace.

Here you see the market as it is hold every friday afternoon. At this moment it is just becoming a little bit more busy. A lot of people buy fresh vegetables and fruits. And of course it is a social event. As one walks around one sees an acquintance or friend.. - read more -
A typical flower and plant market in the Utrecht, Netherlands. In all there fragility flowers make people want to take care of there enviorment. Maybe that why this is a place with a very friendly atmosphere. Walking around here one tends to forget all misery.. - read more -
Equipment: I use a Nikon D70 with a Sigma 8mm lens.

Here you see a bookmarket at the AA-Church. The AA-Church is named after the river called the AA.

Equipment: Taken with a Nikon CoolPix 900s, Nikon 0.66x Wide Angle Converter WC-E24 (24mm). Mounted on a Manfrotto tripod with Super Pro Head and Kaidan Kiwi 900/950 panohead. Processed with Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and PanoTools 2.2.0 for dewarping, stitched with QTVR VR Authoring Studio 1.0.1.
Assen is the capital of the province Drenthe in the northeastern part of the Netherlands. In the centre of this town there is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This market attracts a lot of people from the area.

Equipment: The panorama was taken with Belarussian Peleng MC f 3.5/8 mm lens (set at f 11, ~ 8 m) on Canon EOS D-Rebel, (set at 1/200s, ISO 100). I took several pictures, because people were in constant motion, but the panorama was stitched with 5 pictures using Professor’s Helmut Dersch Panorama Tools (well, the PTGui graphical interface). The circular HOV of this lens on EOS D-Rebel is 165.8o. Autopano and Enblend were of a great help.
This is the Main Market of a village in Southern Poland, called Lipnica Murowana. (I took the subject of the present theme pretty straightforward :-)
