Equipment: I shoot with a Canon 10D and Sigma 14mm lens using a Pinnacle VR tripod head, (available at http://pinnacle-vr.com ) This allows me to shoot the necessary 24 images (three rows of eight shots) and keep everything pin registered. For this image, I took three sets of exposures: one at 8 seconds at f22 for the shadows, another at 1 second at f22 for the mid tones, and a third at 1/8 of a second at f22 for the highlights. I blended these in PhotoShop. |
