Everest on Mars

The Mars Rover Mission continues, after almost 2 years since Spirit landed on Mars Spirit continues to send amazing images to the earth. In october 2005 this panorama was made from Oct. 1 to Oct. 3, 2005.
It has been named the Everest panorama. The view is from th summit of "Husband Hill." The Husband Hill is a plateau about 100 meters (300 feet) above the Gusev crater.

MARS Pathfinder 1997

This panorama was made on Mars in connection with the Pathfinder mission 1997. In 1997 images larger then 50 kb was a rare thing on the net and this panorama has never been recognized fully. QTVRversions are available at several websites but nobody made Fullscreen QTVR in 1997. Cubic (spherical) QTVR was not available until 2001.

Mars Mer Mission Rover Spirit

Mars Jan 16 2004. Spirit leaves the Mother Ship.This image was taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit's navigation camera as it moves away from the spacecraft that brought it to Mars. The empty lander, Columbia Memorial Station, is seen behind the rover.
